Choose Your Charity (again) in 2026!

This was so fun and rewarding, we're gonna do it again in 2026.

Last year, I donated 10% of all my business revenue to charity. But with a twist: Every real estate agent who spent money with me got to choose which charity to support with 10% of their investment! The comments I got throughout the year were super supportive. And when I made the donations in late December, it felt so good to pay it forward and help people in need.

So, of course we're doing it again! And I'm gonna run it back with the same three charities, each of which is doing stuff that I really love.

Here's more about each one:

• St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Their mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.

• Homes For Our Troops: They build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

• World Central Kitchen: They go to the "frontlines" all around the world to feed the victims and first responders who are working through the most difficult emergencies. Even better, they hire and buy from local food sources and restaurants to do this, further supporting the local communities.

All three charities have a 98% or better rating on Charity Navigator, so we can both feel good about where the donations are going.

This is an idea I'm borrowing from my wife's business.

Every December, Cari makes donations to three local charities. She sends out a list of ~15 charities to the members of her client loyalty program and lets them choose the charities each year. This has been going on for, I think, 6-7 years now.

It's a cool idea that I'm happy to borrow again for my business.

So, if you invest any money with me in 2026, expect an email where I'll be asking you to choose your charity.
