10Xing Your Content? You Better Know the Risks

You may have heard this idea going around that you need to "10x your content," especially now that AI makes it fast and easy to do. It was one of the takeaways from the AI-related sessions at the Tom Ferry Success Summit earlier this month.

But before you decide to 10x your content -- especially content you're making with AI -- here are some things to consider.

1. If 10x'ing AI content is good, why not 15x? Why not 20x? Where does it stop?

2. The more agents who 10x their content, the chances that your content is found get smaller and smaller and smaller. It's basic math.

3. If you go from, say, five blog posts per month to 50 blog posts per month, there's no way you'll maintain any semblance of quality, helpfulness, etc.

4. Google literally has a spam policy called "scaled content abuse." There are countless examples of companies that 10x'd their content and lost all their SEO/AI visibility. Here are some examples that have made their way around the SEO industry Slacks and private groups I'm in.

Real estate blogging can still be an effective way to increase traffic, win new leads, and grow your brand. But quantity isn't the right goal. Buyers and sellers don't want more, they want better.
